Library Club is an after-school activity offered to student volunteers in grades 6 - 8. Priority is typically given to 7th grade students as an opportunity for them to accrue service hours for Confirmation, with opportunities for grades 6 and 8 following after.  Our work efforts focus on Library organization (cataloging books digitally, orderly shelving of books according to the Dewey Decimal System, book labeling and book repair). Additional activities include library maintenance, inner and outer room decor, and book fair planning (Scholastic Book Fair is in the Fall and Barnes and Noble Book Fair is in the Spring). Our club meets one to two days a week based on Library needs. There is variability as to the meeting days so as to keep the schedule flexible based on students' other extra-curricular commitments.
